Living by Divine Principles
Sun, 12, May, 2024

Beloved in Christ, as we journey through the tapestry of life, let us be guided by the eternal principles ordained by our Heavenly Father. These principles, rooted in His Word, illuminate our path, shape our character, and lead us closer to His divine purpose.

In the book of Proverbs, Chapter 3, verses 5 and 6, we are admonished to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Herein lies the cornerstone of our existence: trust in God's unfailing wisdom and sovereignty.

Furthermore, in Matthew 6:33, our Lord Jesus Christ instructs us, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This verse underscores the primacy of prioritizing God's kingdom above all else. When we align our pursuits with His will, He ensures our needs are abundantly met.

In Galatians 5:22-23, the Apostle Paul elucidates the fruit of the Spirit, highlighting the virtues that should adorn our lives: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Let us, therefore, cultivate these fruits diligently, for they reflect the character of our Heavenly Father.

Moreover, in Ephesians 4:32, we are encouraged to "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Forgiveness, rooted in Christ's redemptive love, frees us from the bondage of bitterness and fosters reconciliation and unity among brethren.

Lastly, let us heed the words of James 1:22, which admonishes us, "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." As obedient children of God, let us not be hearers only but doers of the Word, bearing witness to His transformative power through our actions.

In conclusion, let us anchor our lives upon the bedrock of God's eternal principles, for therein lies true fulfillment and everlasting joy. May we walk in faith, obedience, and love, reflecting the light of Christ in a world shrouded in darkness.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you,

Apostle Dr. Solomon Oduro
